My medical journey began in 1997 when I was accepted to the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Medical School. I passed the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS) in 2006 and began my Internal Medicine residency at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital. Between 2010-2011, I worked as an Internal Medicine specialist at the Presidential Campus. In 2011, I passed the Medical Subspecialty Exam (YDUS) and began my Gastroenterology subspecialty training at GATA Ankara.
In 2014, I was appointed as a Gastroenterology specialist to the GATA Ankara Gastroenterology Clinic. During this time, I worked particularly in the fields of microbiota, inflammatory bowel diseases (Ulcerative Colitis & Crohn's Disease), stem cell treatments, obesity, interventional endoscopic procedures, and functional medicine. I received "best oral and poster first place awards" at conferences organized by the Turkish Liver Research Association and the Turkish Gastroenterology Association. During the same period, I was awarded the "scientific work encouragement, internal sciences third place award" by GATA. In 2017, I successfully passed the Associate Professorship exam and received the title of Associate Professor Dr.
I have approximately 100 publications in international and national journals. I also authored book chapters. I served as a principal investigator in international comprehensive clinical research, particularly in phase 3 studies for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases.
In 2023, I was appointed to the Professor position at Fenerbahçe University. After working at Medicana Kadıköy Hospital from 2022-2025, I started accepting patients at my own clinic in December 2025.
