Definition and Causes of Diarrhea:

Diarrhea occurs as a result of disruption of the water absorption process passing through the intestines. More than three soft-liquid bowel movements per day is called diarrhea. Gastroenterology patients usually experience this condition due to reasons such as intestinal inflammation, infections, intestinal syndromes, or side effects. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and infectious agents are the main causes of diarrhea.
