With more than 20 years of experience, Prof. Dr. Hakan Demirci has expertise in the core areas of gastroenterology, including diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver and gallbladder diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases (Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease), as well as endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures. He is also experienced in specialized treatment methods such as wellbeing, longevity, microbiota, and fecal transplantation therapies. By closely following both national and international scientific developments, he offers his patients the most up-to-date treatment options.
Technology
Endoscopic imaging plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. In our clinic, advanced endoscopic systems are used to perform procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, endoscopic variceal band ligation, bleeding control, and obesity treatments. In addition, endoscopic devices are disinfected using state-of-the-art automated systems to ensure maximum infection safety.
Personalized Treatment
Although the diagnosis and treatment of gastroenterological diseases are generally standardized, some patients require closer attention, more time, detailed examinations, and innovative treatments. Therefore, personalized treatment approaches are of great importance.
Especially in conditions such as microbiota imbalance, dysbiosis, SIBO, leaky gut, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn’s disease, there is no single standard protocol. Each patient should be evaluated individually and treated with tailored methods.

Clinical Procedure Statistics
All endoscopic procedures can be performed for patients visiting our clinic. Of these cases, 40% consist of endoscopy and 40% of colonoscopy.
In addition, when examining patient distribution: 30% are stomach diseases, 10% small intestine diseases, 35% large intestine diseases, 15% gallbladder and bile duct diseases, and 10% pancreatic diseases.
